Heather Rae El Moussaturns 36 Saturday, just a few weeks after celebrating husbandTarek El Moussa’sbirthday.
Heather said Tarek is “loyal above anything.”

“You are loyal above anything, you have a passion for life, the biggest heart, giving, you wake up every single day to work your ass off to protect our family & work hard for us,” theSelling Sunsetstar said in an Instagramtribute celebrating Tarek’s birthdayin August when he turned 42, adding, “You put others before yourself and genuinely want to change and motivate people’s lives,” the reality star added. “I love seeing you as a dad & raising kids with you is such a beautiful thing…“You are a fighter, you never give up. Let’s stay in our bubble, stay focused and celebrate life. 🤍,” wrote Heather.
In 2019, just a little over a month of dating Tarek, Heather wrotein an Instagram captioncelebrating his birthday: “Since you came into my life I haven’t stopped smiling. When I’m with you the world stops.”
Tarek said that “every day feels like the best day” with Heather.

“I wake up every morning feeling like the luckiest guy in the world,” Tarek said in an Instagram post celebrating Heather’s birthday last year which included a sweetcarousel of photos. “Every day with you feels like the best day,” theFlip or Flopstar said. “There is no one in this world like you:)! You have a heart of gold and my heart lights up every time you walk into the room. As I said on our wedding day, you make me want to be a better man."

They are each other’s “best friend” and have “soul mate love.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better partner, best friend, step-mom, and mom to be,” Tarek said in a birthday tribute Instagram post last September for Heather, who at the time was expecting their first child. Tarek whisked Heather away ona romantic getawayto a Malibu bungalow filled with flowers. Calling his wife “Bunny,” he added, “I love you more than words can describe.”
Heather said Tarek is her soulmate in a post on her Instagram in August 2022 when she celebrated his birthday. “Happy birthday to the man who forever has my heart my true soulmate ❤️,” Heathercaptionedher post. “To the best daddy, my best friend the most hardworking and dedicated man I know, the most loving and kind person, the most generous friend, and the best partner I could ever ask for.”
On first meeting Tarek on the Fourth of July in 2019, Heather said, “From the first day I met you, to our first date and our second date when we decided to commit 100% before we barely even knew each other. But we knew what we had was special. We had that butterflies in your tummy, can’t eat, can’t stop smiling soul mate love. ❤️.”
Tarek was “in awe” of Heather during her pregnancy.
In January 2023 Heather and Tarek welcomed a son, Tristan. Heather and Tarekannounced their pregnancyexclusively to PEOPLE in July 2022. Heather is also stepmom to Tarek’s children Taylor and Brayden.
They were giddy about each other from the start.
“We really focus on having fun and living life and just enjoying each other’s company,” he added. “And going out to dinner, and going boating, and….I’m talking too much because I’m excited,” Tarek gushed.
For her part, Heather said, “He’s been very romantic, it’s been very amazing. All happiness and smiles.” Tarek then shared that he sent his boat up to L.A. to surprise Heather one weekend.
“Physically, spiritually, mentally, I was so broken,” Tarek toldPEOPLE Now. “I just never really thought I would open up to someone again. I never thought I would be vulnerable again.”
“I saw [Heather] one day…and right when she smiled, I just lit up inside,” he said. “She’s so amazing and supportive and strong. She makes me feel better. She makes my life better.”
“Happy happy happy birthday @therealtarekelmoussa since you came into my life I haven’t stopped smiling,” she captioned a photo of the couple. “When I’m with you the world stops. So excited to share your special day with you. You + me.”
