On Sunday, Jan. 12, Priscilla, 79,paid tribute to her late daughter on Instagram,who died on Jan. 12, 2023. She posted a video of Lisa Marie with somber music playing.

“I miss you more than words can say,” she wrote in her heartfelt caption. “I wish I could hold you, talk to you, see your smile just one more time.”

Lisa Marie, the only child ofElvis Presley, died in January 2023, days afterattending the Golden Globes. She was 54 years old.

Months before she died, Lisa Marie had been experiencing long-lasting fevers, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting. She was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 12 forpossible cardiac arrest.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla shared in a statement with PEOPLE the day Lisa Marie died.

“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”
