Princess Eugenieand Jack Brooksbank may be getting ready to become first-time parents in the coming weeks, but Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter is also reflecting on their engagement.
The royal, 30, shared a sweet photo with her now-husband from their 2018 engagement interview on herInstagram page.
“This time 3 years ago.. flashback to such a happy moment when Jack and I announced our engagement,” Eugenie captioned the never-before-seen photo, in which Jack smiles at the camera while she presses her nose against his cheek.

In the snap, the couple is dressed in the same clothes they wore for their televised interview with BBC 1’s Matt Baker following their engagement announcement. Jack sported a suit and red tie that complemented Eugenie’s floral Erdem dress (which she had previously worn for a 2016 interview withHarper’s Bazaar).
Of course, all eyes were onPrincess Eugenie’sdazzling pink sapphire engagement ring.

A friend of the couple previously told PEOPLE thatQueen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, 30, willtake after her mother Sarah Ferguson’s parenting style.
“Eugenie is such a fun person but very thoughtful too,” the source said. “I think she will be more of a bohemian parent, a bit like her mom, while Jack will be calm and chilled.”
