Meghan MarkleandPrince Harryare adding another chapter to their story in Canada.

Canada has often been the setting for special moments between Harry and Meghan.

After meeting in 2016, Prince Harry made regular visits to Toronto, where California native Meghan was living while filmingSuits.Just before their romance was revealed to the public, thecouple celebrated Halloween together in Toronto, going unrecognized at an apocalypse-themed party withPrincess EugenieandJack Brooksbank.

“If that’s the apocalypse, I thought, bring on the end of the world,” Prince Harry wrote in his memoir,Spare.

They were spotted together again at the event’s closing ceremony. Harry joined Meghan and her mother,Doria Ragland, in a private box at the Air Canada Centre to watch performers such asBruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams andKelly Clarksonwrap up the event. At one point, the prince was seen giving his then-girlfriend a kiss on the cheek!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent their first holiday season as a family of three — after they welcomed their son,Prince Archie, in 2019 —on Vancouver Island. In January 2020, the duoappeared at Canada House in London, where they met Janice Charette, High Commissioner to the U.K., to show their appreciation for what the couple’s office said was “the warm Canadian hospitality and support they received during their recent stay.”

They then stayed in Canada at the start of 2020, when they announced that they were stepping back from their royal roles. In March of that year, they relocated to Los Angeles, staying at Tyler Perry’s home before moving to Montecito.
