Longtime couple Lisa Bonet andJason Momoahonored the lateKarl Lagerfeldthrough their fashion at the 2019 Oscars.
“We have the honor of wearing Karl Lagerfeld, [Fendi Creative Director of Menswear Silvia Venturini Fendi] designed Jason’s tux personally for him, and this is from [Karl’s] last couture collection from Fendi,” Bonet said on the ABC red carpet pre-show. Lagerfeld, the longtime creative director for Fendi and Chanel,passed away at age 85on Feb. 19 just two days before hisfinal Fendi show was presented at Milan Fashion Week.
Bonet’s muted pink Fendi Couture tea-length dress featured sequins and intricate floral embellishments. She accessorized the sentimental design with a metallic pink clutch, spiked Fernando Jorge diamond and yellow gold earrings, two Jacquie Aiche opal bracelets, a Mattia Cielo diamond arm cuff and pointed toe booties.

The pair walked arm-in-arm down the red carpet and longingly gazed into each other’s eyes as they posed for the cameras.

Bonet and Momoa most recentlycuddled up at the premiere of the actor’s blockbuster film,Aquaman, in December 2018. Days later,the actor swooned over his wife to PEOPLE.
“We are a perfect fit,” Momoa added.

In November 2017, Momoa opened up about his marriage onThe Late Late Show with James Corden.
“I’m a full-fledged stalker,” he joked. “I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise, I’d be creepy and weird. But yeah, [I’d] just always wanted to meet her. She was a queen, always.”
The 91st Academy Awards are broadcasting live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on ABC.
