Nearly a week after announcing they hadwelcomed a child via surrogate, theEmily in Parisactress, 35, and the filmmaker, 41, shared new photos of their newborn daughter, Tove Jane McDowell, on Thursday, Feb. 6.

McDowell, wearing a maroon turtleneck sweater and light-washed jeans, was seen looking at his daughter in admiration.
“Dad mode ❤️,” he captioned the post.
In addition to sharing the post on her Instagram Stories alongside crying eyes and red heart emojis, Collins postedher own photo with Toveon her main Instagram feed.
Her photo showed the proud mom wearing a dark crewneck sweater while carrying Tove in her arms.
“Mom mode…” she captioned the post.
The couple announced Tove’s arrival in ajoint Instagram poston Friday, Jan. 31, and shared what becoming parents meant to them.
“Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again,” they wrote next to a photo of Tove lying in a bassinet.

Collins and McDowell, the son of actressMary Steenburgenand actorMalcolm McDowell, firstsparked dating rumors in July 2019. A month later,they made things Instagram officialwhen Collins shared aphotoof herself with her head leaning on McDowell’s back. (Collins also has famous parentage, as her parents arePhil Collinsand his second wife,Jill Tavelman.)
A little over a year later, in September 2020, Collins and McDowellannounced their engagementonInstagramandmarried in September 2021.
