I ’ve been enounce this for months : Lee Adama is by far the shallowest character on Battlestar Galactica that we ’ve been tricked into like , partially because of his sexy humanity - supercilium and ability to look hot while beating up girls . But now , Entertainment Weekly has thumb Lee Adama along with Squidward Tentacles , McDreamy and Lauren Conrad in their controversial list of “ 24 TV character Who Just Turn You Off . ” frankly , if donning a fat suit was the most compelling fibre development that fall out to you in four season , you ’ve experience take — but I know how to fix Apollo , and why he ’s broken in the first post . He Is A Pussy : First off , the yelling and crazy jump when Starbuck and Lee were doing the deed was so painful — and uncomfortable . sure enough , it was precious when she was doing it because she ’s endearing but ugh , barf — just watch him take it again and again as Starbuck walks all over him is so sorry , and not in a dear way . He Was wander In A Really Lame Way : Starbuck is screwed up , there ’s no deny it . Who would n’t be mess up after they were shell by their mother , drugged and rob of their ovary , and then put behind bars with a cylon and their think sexual love child — only to determine out that this tiddler that has been holding your saneness together is actually not yours … or is it ? Oh and then you die out and come back to life . So yeah , she ’s a petty off her secret plan . So if she needs to get relief from her mistaken marriage in the branch of a childhood ally , then so be it . But what ’s Lee ’s excuse ? Sure , a lot of his family is dead , but so is EVERYONE’S. Give me a reason to root for you , Lee , because mighty now find out you half heartedly cheat on your married woman and then inexplicably pull up stakes her is snoresville . He ’s Preachy : Oh god who could forget the 10 - arcminute monologue that was Lee Adama take the stand at Baltar ’s hearing ? Sure he made a lot of really valid point , but why is he the only one that gets to lecture about this ? And everlastingly , no less . Plus his ridiculous “ minuscule lose lamb ” act in the macrocosm of politics is insulting . He ’s look on people buy the farm in battle for chrissakes , is he really that naive ? And then when he does finally “ get it ” that his endeavour at strong - fortify President Roslin with his whole “ the mass have the right to have sex ” BS is deadening and totally mistaken . Again , your father is Big Man Adama — do you not see how this works stop with the moral principle and get your hands filthy pretty boy . His high and mighty act is exhausting . But hey do n’t take our discussion for it : accord to the podcast for Revelations , Ron Moorehimself was confused on the direction for Lee . evidently have him bear hideous lawsuit and spout off dollar - store morality was the way to go .
How would we fix this problem ? simple-minded . BRING BACK FAT LEE . The personnel casualty of Fat Lee Adama in one episode was the bad affair that could ever come about to Apollo . Watching Lee linger around and get soft was whole riveting . Plus the disgust his begetter had for him was a whole new and interesting angle that was really plausible . Not just the common “ Wah , I ’m harebrained at my dad ” crap . So you hear it here first — Fat Lee wins over steady Lee any day . Plus then maybe he ’ll have to get some new suits .
