The actor is the highest paid actor at the moment, taking in over $100 million thanks to Netflix picking up the upcomingKnives Out2 and 3,according toVariety.
The outlet reports that sum is so high because Netflix accounts for back-end amounts stars would receive if their movie were to premiere exclusively in theaters.
Next up isDwayne Johnson, who is projected to bring in $50 million thanks to Amazon Studios’Red One, perVariety’s report. While his initial deal is for $30 million, the outlet says it could balloon up with back-end sums accounted for.

Craig’s massiveKnives Outpaycheck was first reported in April after the deal was made.
Rian Johnson, who wrote and directed the 2019 hit film, could also be scoring $100 million from the deal,The Hollywood Reportedwrote. The director, who also madeStar Wars: The Last Jedi, shot the originalKnives Outon a $40 million budget.
The sequels have since racked up a star-studded cast with Craig once again leading as Detective Benoit Blanc, the only character to carryover from the original movie.
