In a recent interview , Black Mirror creatorCharlie Brooker expressed an undeniable fact : Now is unfeignedly not the time forBlack Mirror’sdystopian devilry . Keep it . Put a little fencing around it . The people do n’t desire it .
More specifically though , when speaking toRadio Times , Brooker was quite elegant in his accurate read on our current reality . He acknowledged that the vast majority of people could n’t really be made to consume a fictionalized facsimile flop this moment , because those of us who are paying attention are witness the whole mass unravel in real - time .

When asked when we might see more of the anthology series , Brooker read , “ At the mo , I do n’t know what stomach there would be for report about societies fall aside , so I ’m not working away on one of those . I ’m sort of nifty to revisit my mirthful skill set , so I ’ve been writing scripts aimed at making myself laugh . ”
There have been a number of way in which Black Mirror , despite being as thematically dismal as it is , pass us glimpses of ways out ofapocalypses . But to be dead reliable , we ’re not living through an episode of Black Mirror , we ’re live through a chunk of white domination showing its entire ass and jeopardize quite literally everyone , including the the great unwashed that it purportedly champions .
The latest Black Mirror was turn on Netflix in June 2019 . Perhaps we can interest you insomething not as fearsome ?
