With the development of an “ atomic knife , ” tomorrow ’s infirmary operations may be as easy on the patient as relaxing in an easy chairwoman – no incision , no bleeding . The technique has already been used successfully in decoct hormone flow from the pituitary body , in relieving down mental states by “ contract ” mind segments , in treating certain grammatical case of cancer .
Specialists at the University of California and in Uppsala , Sweden , have been able to put down undesirable tissue by directing a proton beam toward them . Later , many researcher feel , the method acting may be used in any surgical operation that does n’t postulate reconnecting of tissue .
