Bachelor in Paradise’s seventh season, originally intended to shoot last summer, was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ABC announced this April that it would officially return in August. The new season, however, will not feature longtime hostChris Harrison, who permanently exited the franchise in June afterhis racism controversy.

ABC has tapped a rotation of stars — includingLance Bass,Tituss Burgess,Lil JonandDavid Spade— to guest-host the upcoming season.Wells Adams, who previously competed onBachelor in Paradisebefore becoming the show’s bartender, will alsoserve as the master of ceremoniesfor the rose eliminations. He will also step in to guest-host an episode.

Two-time contestant Joe recently said that “every day got more and more intense” while filming this season.

“I wasn’t expecting to be [an] original cast [member],” he said on hisClick Bait with Bachelor Nationpodcast. “I forgot all of whatParadiseis about, and it is a wild ride in this season. [It] is insane, it really is.”

Season 7 ofBachelor in Paradisepremieres Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
