Country singerAlex Milleris remembering the victim of a fatal car accident that he was recently involved in.
TheAmerican Idolseason 19 alum, 20, was not operating either of the vehicles at the time of the incident but was a passenger.

“Sadly, the driver of the car is deceased. Alex sends his thoughts and prayers to the gentleman and his family,” the statement continued. “No one on the bus was injured. Kentucky State Police are investigating.”
The country artist shared the same message on his social media accounts.
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Miller’s manager called the accident “very unfortunate.” He added that he and his client are “very sorry that the driver of the car is deceased.”
On Wednesday, the Kentucky State Police also shared a press release detailing the deadly crash.
Members of the agency’s Post 11 London unit investigated a two-vehicle fatal collision that occurred [at] approximately 10:28 pm in Rockcastle County on South Wildness Road, they said on their officialwebsite.

According to a preliminary report, a 53-year-old Mount Vernon resident named James M. Mcpheron lost control of his 2004 Toyota Rav4 and veered into the path of Miller’s tour bus, a 1997 Van Hool.
Just one day before the fatal accident, Miller shared an Instagram Reel on his page announcing that he had new music on the way. In his hashtags, he alluded to being in Daytona Beach, Florida.
“Hello Alex Miller Fans! I got a brand new song coming out tomorrow called Oh Odessa and y’all are gonna love it!” he captioned the post.
In the clip, he and his band members excitedly teased the upcoming release.
Miller’s first taste of stardom was when he was a contestant onAmerican Idolin 2021 at just 17 years old.
