Apparently , there ’s not much to do during Minnesota winter ( I kid ) , because Roger Hanson has been making gigantic ice castles in his spare metre . badly , they ’re ginormous . We ’re speak 65 feet high-pitched and 85 feet prospicient humungous beasts of man made nature . How does he do it ?
His organization is jolly clever . He set pole to his pattern in November to set up the castle and uses cold water ( about 37 degree ) from his geothermal heat heart to shape it . Hanson has a computer political platform that reads weather condition forecasts and ascendancy when cold pee will spray the flesh to “ turn ” the internal-combustion engine rook . The spray water supply immobilise when it pip the poles , thus form these amazing ice castles . [ Inhabitat ]
This is Hanson ’s current beast .

This is an ice-skating rink castle from humbler first ( 2008 ) .
