We wish Spotify as more than admirer , but gentleman , it ’s been doing nothing but fall behind money for a while now . So it ’s jolly good — and really surprising — word that it ’s now gotthree million the great unwashed paying for its service .
That three million figure is in reality more telling because it ’s 20 percent of everyone using Spotify , which is a bump from the 15 percent that was paying for the service back in March of last year . It ’s pretty dang impressive that it ’s managed to increase that transition pace while gaining more total users , but that might be due in part to thelimits rank on loose drug user after 6 monthsof use that recently went into essence in the US .

Spotify is n’t really as broke as it look with its big deficit ; a lot of that come from the huge amount it had to pay to launch stateside . At the time , a slew of people were somewhat sure that the idea of pay off label per listen regardless of if a drug user was paying or not was haywire . And maybe it was . But while Spotify ’s not all the way of life out of the Ellen Price Wood just yet , it ’s good to see that the weight of scurf has n’t totally crushed it just yet . [ Financial Times ]
